Required Skills:
• 8+ years of Product Development and
architecture expertise in J2EE.
• Experience in Scalability Solutions and
Architecture.
• Strong performance tuning expertise.
• Knowledge DB Scaling, Sharding and
Partitioning Architectures.
• Knowledge of open source presentation
frameworks such as Tapestry or Struts2.
• Knowledge of open source persistence
frameworks such as Hibernate or iBatis
• Preferred knowledge of the internals and
tuning of open source App and Web Servers such as
Apache, Tomcat and JBoss.
• Desired knowledge on Google Gears and
GWT.
• Exposed to Predictive as well as Agile
processes.
• Ability to conduct technical feasibility
analyses for projects.
• Ability to work with the analysts and
prepare the business domain model for the solution
under construction.
• Ability to prepare architecture
definition document covering: Layering of the system,
External interfaces, Deployment topology, Security,
authentication and authorization
• Must supervise the preparation of
solution design elements such as: Analysis Model,
Design Model, Use case realizations.
• Must be able to design solutions based
on multitude of paradigms such as: Core J2EE patterns,
Design Patterns (GoF), Enterprise Integration Patterns
etc…
• Must be able to address key issues in
architecture such as Scalability, Reliability,
Extensibility, Maintainability, Performance.
• Must be able to Prepare Whitepapers and
Articles explaining current frameworks and
architectures.
• Must be a team player.
• Ability to work under pressure.
