Mandatory:
Oracle, SQL Server, any database technology and know
of SQL programming
UNIX shell scripting
Test process knowhow (how to test, what process to
follow, how to report errors, how to collect symptoms)
Test techniques (how / which to write test cases)
Test coverage
Test automation
Functional Testing / GUI Testing
Good in Blackbox Testing
Project Domains:
Preferable:
Telecom (keywords to search for: OSS , CDRs, Rating,
Billing, mediation, Fraud Management, Revenue
assurance, postpaid, prepaid etc.)
Other possible domains:
Applications in financial domain, hospital management
software
Salary wouldn"t be a constrain for the right
candidates.
