Key Relationships :
The candidate must be able to work with the platform?s
Product Manager, his team lead and all members of the
Design Portal development and QA team, as well as with
the other development teams within the DS3 LOB.
Main Purpose And Key Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities will include:
? Assisting Systems Architects in producing functional
and technical specifications
? Writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining code
(including SQL)
To accommodate highly volatile business requirements,
we are committed to agile/iterative development
methods, where close customer feedback and short
iterations are key elements.
Occasional int! ernational & domestic travel may be
required.
The Person
Relevant Experience and Qualifications:
Qualification : Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer
Science or equivalent
Experience : He/She should be a well-rounded developer
with at least 3 years of experience developing
database-driven, web-based applications, including at
least 1 year doing so with Java technologies. He/She
must have a successful track record that demonstrates
your ability to work in teams and deliver projects on
time in a dynamic environment.
Skills Required : Expertise in the following
areas/tools is required:
? Java technologies in general and one or more web
frameworks in particular (Struts, Tapestry, etc.)
? Microsoft SQL Server 7 & Transact SQL (or equivalent
: Oracle & PL/SQL, PostgreSQL & PL/pgSQL)
? Web technologies (HTTP/S, CSS, Ajax, Javascript,
XML, etc)
Ideally He/She has experience developing other type of
ap! plications with different programming languages.
Skills Desired : Excellent verbal and written
communication skills and have a valid passport.
